A continued Tradition of Leadership from the King of Instruments for the King of Kings!

"I have waited 20 years for this day to come to pass" says Don Parks, long time Minister of Music for Central Baptist Church, Marshall Texas.  I am so "excited about this wonderful new HUGE addition to the music ministry.  I am also so very pleased that without exception, all the initial “reactions” are so overwhelmingly positive."

After nearly 5 years of looking at organ builders, many prayers lifted high, and raising funds, Central Baptist Church is Celebrating and Giving Thanks on Easter Sunday with a NEW TRIUMPHAL SOUND RINGING OUT "CHRIST THE LORD IS RISEN TODAY."

The New Organ will be played by Mrs. June Jones, Organist of the church and music major at East Texas Baptist University.  The New ALLEN ORGAN is built by the largest builder of Church Organs in the  World. It contains 50 speaking and moving stops on 3 manuals(keyboards) and pedal. It contains the Quad Suite which provides 4 organs in 1!

It also contains VISTA, which will allow hundreds of MIDI voices that many organist demand for today's church..  Vista's Compact Flash Memory provides convenient storage for hundreds of sequences, organ capture files, as well as Vista setting files. Easily transportable, Vista's memory card can also be connected to a PC for advanced file management or downloading of sequences/files from other sources.

Pastor Matt Wood suggests that "the traditional style and sound of this NEW ALLEN ORGAN reflects well the traditional architectural style of the building and worship that is celebrated at Central Baptist."  Central Baptist is also the place of worship for many of the faculty and staff of the East Texas Baptist University, in Marshall including Dr. Tom Webster, Chairman of the Music School.
